Clown Tank Aquatics is a site for me to share about my experience in keeping reef tanks with a particular emphysis on marine clownfish and their host anemones.  I have been keeping reef aquariums since 1997.  Like many other reef keepers, I was lured into the hobby by clownfish and their unusual interaction with their host anemones.  I have had tanks focused on corals and non-host anemones, but I always seem to find room for a pair of clowns.  I hope something in this site will inspire others to learn about the coral reef ecosystems and their part in the world's food chain.  Coral reefs are a rapidly deteriorating natural resource.  Share your frags, anemone clones and captive raised clowns with others in the hobby.  If hobbyists do not self regulate our impact on the world's reefs, our governments will do it for us in ways that we will find less agreeable. Happy Reefing!

My one request is that visitors please refrain from transferring data on this site to any other site without written authorization for copyright from me or the photographers whose images appear here.

This is my current project (started in November 2009).  I would like to be able to say that this system is the culmination of all the good things that I have learned since I started keeping reefs but because no two reefs are alike, it is as much of a work in progress as any other system.
